Meet some of the key members of staff at Tritech.

COMPANY DIRECTORS

Simon Beswick - Managing Director Simon is the newly appointed Managing Director, bringing a fresh outlook to the company. Simon is extremely enthusiastic about creating and developing new business strategies for the company and ensuring long term prosperity. Simon has a degree in engineering, is a qualified accountant and holds an MBA. His extensive range of experience has given him a solid foundation and superior understanding of the complex industry Tritech works in.
Jacqueline McCloy - Finance Director Jacqueline joined the Tritech team in February 2009. Jacqueline's new role as Finance Director of the Tritech Group includes responsibility for financial control, reporting and compliance across the Group. Her previous role was Head of Finance at technology manufacturer Sarantel Group PLC in the consumer electronics space. Prior to this she was financial controller for Natural Building Technologies Ltd in the construction sector. Jacqueline is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
John Smith - Technical Director John Smith has recently been appointed as the Tritech Group's Technical Director, responsible for the company's technical research and development. John Smith has a BSc Hons (first) in Electronics from U.M.I.S.T. Before his appointment to Tritech, John led key developments on SRD's (Sonar Research and Development) digital multibeam sonar systems. Joining SRD in 1989 as an Electronics Engineer he has progressed through the company to Technical Manager in 1995 and then Technical Director in 2005. John has very successfully grown with SRD and is now bringing his 20 years of expertise to the Tritech Group.
Maurice Fraser - Sales & Marketing Director Maurice has excelled at Tritech in the last five years and as a result has been promoted to his current position. He is accountable for generating sales, new product innovation, maintaining and expanding Tritech's dispersed network by supporting all our valued customers and communicating with Tritech's many partners. Prior to joining Tritech, Maurice was an Aircraft Ground Engineer in the Royal Air Force and continued the work ethic that tasks should be done correct the first time. With a wide range of experience in many different fields and an award in B.Sc in Mathematics and Computing Maurice brings diversification to the team and a particularly stimulating vision for Tritech's future in the subsea industry.

SALES & MARKETING TEAM

Malcolm Johnston - Sales & Marketing Manager Since graduating as a mature student from Robert Gordon University in 2000 with a B.Sc in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Malcolm has spent five years working in the subsea industry as an engineer before joining Tritech as a Sales and Marketing Executive. Malcolm draws from over twenty eight years experience gained from working both on and offshore in the Diving and Survey industries. His main area of responsibility is the development of Tritech's key accounts and is also responsible for Tritech's rental business.
Tony Forster - Customer Liaison Manager Tony has been with Tritech since its inception. Having left the Royal Air Force in 1979, Tony joined the airline industry in Aberdeen, initially dealing with oil related traffic, passenger and freight. Tony then joined KLM as a Cargo Officer, where he was responsible for shipping freight around the world. Tony has worked with Tritech’s founder and former Managing Director, Richard Marsh, for over 30 years on subsea projects, firstly joining him in 1981, at Bennico Ltd, as a Materials Controller. Then in 1993, Tony joined Richard at Tritech International looking after purchasing, stores and customs and export licensing requirements. This role has diversified over the years as the company has grown. Tony's current position is Customer Liaison Manager, where he is responsible for areas including customer feedback and export and licensing control.
Paul Hudson - International Business Development Manager Paul has been a valued member of Tritech since 2002 and is now primarily responsible for the company's worldwide distributor network. From joining the company as a junior member of the Sales and Marketing team, Paul has progressed to his current role. Paul has a thorough knowledge of the complete range of Tritech products in each of our areas of technology and his excellent ability to manage relations has contributed considerably to the growth of Tritech's business on both a national and international level. He has a product design degree from The Robert Gordon University, and has successfully completed his MBA.
Christopher Booth - Sales Executive & StarFish Product Development Manager Chris joined Tritech in January 2001 as a Software & IT Systems Engineer following his graduation from Robert Gordon University with a B.Sc in Business Computing. Over the years Chris has been responsible for developing software for Tritech's range of acoustic and video systems, our websites and other digital marketing activities. Chris's addition to the sales and marketing team brings a wealth of technical product knowledge and experience gained from his previous e-marketing activities within Tritech. As one of the key drivers within the StarFish business development team Chris also has the added responsibility overseeing the strategic development of the StarFish product line.
Christopher Booth - Sales Executive & StarFish Product Development Manager Mike joined Tritech in November 2006 following the acquisition of Ulvertech Engineering Ltd and has recently been appointed as Business Development Manager, responsible for expanding Tritech’s business in the Defence sector. Mike started out as an Electronics Design Engineer with Ulvertech Ltd, working on the design and development of their range of sonar systems before progressing through as the Technical Manager for the company and then the Managing Director of Ulvertech Engineering Ltd. Prior to this new appointment, Mike worked closely with the research and development team of Tritech, as the Product Manager. Mike is a member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and brings with him over 25 years experience in the subsea business.
Matt Winfield- Survey Business Development Manager Matt was appointed by Tritech in October 2009 to head up survey business development activities, having previously been head of the survey department at Sonar Research and Development Ltd (SRD). As Business Development Manager, Matt is responsible for growing Tritech's business within the survey and hydrographic markets. Having graduated from Southampton University with a Joint honours degree in Oceanography with Physical Geography, Matt then spent over ten years in the offshore industry; progressing from Offshore Surveyor, Survey Party Chief and then to Project Manager. Matt has an in depth knowledge of planning and conducting a wide variety of offshore surveys, as well as being very experienced in the use and application of multibeam sonar technology.

TECHNICAL & CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Bill Jaffray - Quality & Process Improvement Manager Bill joined the Tritech team in March 2001 as New Projects and QA Manager ensuring Tritech's high quality products are maintained to their utmost standard and that all departments comply with the ISO9001:2000 quality standards. Bill helped the company gain prestigious recognition in 2003 when the company was presented with the "Investors in People" award. He has the overall responsibility of ensuring continual quality and process improvement of Tritech Business Operations and currently holds the position of Quality & Process Improvement Manager. Bill has 24 years experience in designing, manufacturing and repairing subsea equipment and an HND award in electrical and electronic engineering.
Benedict HD Grant - Customer Training Manager Ben joined the Tritech group in December 2006, taking on an engineering role, as a Customer Support Engineer. Since then he has extended his engineering responsibilities to include managing all customer training courses. Prior to joining Tritech, Ben has experience working as a project engineer in the communications sector. Ben graduated in 2006 from the Robert Gordon University with a Masters in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, giving him a sound platform to carry out his technical responsibilities at Tritech.
